FAQ COVID 19

We thought of creating this page by inserting the most frequent questions asked by our guests during this period due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19).

 

If these answers are not exhaustive, you can contact us by phone or e-mail. All our staff has completed a specific additional course on 'health and safety at work to align and update itself adequately to the current situation, because the well-being of our guests is our top priority.

 

 

1. Can I change my booking for free?

• Yes, if you book with a STANDARD rate, before you arrive at the campsite you can always modify your booking by contacting the reception.

• You can change the number of people, within the maximum capacity of the accommodation/pitch, add or remove ancillary services, change both the type of accommodation/pitch and the dates of your holiday, always based on availability.

• You will not be charged for any changes, however it is possible that changes in dates,

housing units and additional services may cause a change in the total holiday price.

• If you booked with a NON REFUNDABLE rate, you are not entitled to any refund, except

for the issue of a voucher if the cancellation of the stay is due to the epidemiological emergency.

 

 

2. Can I move my vacation to 2022?

• Yes! If you have booked with a REFUNDABLE rate and want to move your booking to 2022, our office will transfer the arrival / departure dates, the type of accommodation / pitch and the deposit already paid for the 2021 booking in an identical procedure for the next season. You will at the same time change the dates and duration. Again, you will not be charged for the changes, however it is possible that the changes result in a change in the total price due to the change in prices.

• NO, if you have booked with a NON-REFUNDABLE rate you will not be able to change it.

 

 

3. Can I cancel my reservation for free?

ì• Yes! If the cancellation is due to the epidemiological emergency up to 7 days before arrival, if you have booked with a REFUNDABLE STANDARD rate and the deposit paid will be refunded, less the sum of 5.00 euros for bank charges.

• No, if you have booked with a NON-REFUNDABLE rate you can still cancel your reservation but there is no refund of the amount paid.

• If the Cancellation is not attributable to the epidemiological emergency: the deposit will be returned in the following ways:

 

o STANDARD RATE

 - within 60 days before arrival: 100%

- within 30 days before arrival: 50%

- After this deadline, no refund will be made.

 

 o NON-REFUNDABLE RATE

• will not be refunded

 

 

4. When do I have to pay the balance of my holiday?

• You will pay the balance due upon arrival at the campsite / during your stay or by bank transfer before your arrival, as you are most comfortable.Advance payment, equal to 100% of the value of the overnight stay only, is due within 3 days of the booking request if you purchase your holiday with a Non-Refundable rate.

 

5. What happens in case of no-show?

• In case of no-show without any notice, the reservation will be canceled, Camping ItaliaLido will treat the amount of the deposit already paid without further burdens for the guest.

 

6. Do I have to pay a cleaning deposit?

• Cleaning is a mandatory service automatically entered and charged at the time of booking the accommodation.

• Camping ItaliaLido has always believed that the cleaning of the accommodation was extremely important and therefore a dedicated and adequately trained staff will clean the accommodation before your arrival and after your departure.

 

7. Can I use the Holiday Bonus at your campsite?

• We are sorry but in our structure we do not accept the Bonus Vacanza.

 

8. "What to do in case of ..."

• Are you detecting symptoms of COVID19 contagion and are you on vacation with us? Follow these directions, without creating alarmism

• Contact your doctor

• Avoid any contact with other guests of the facility

• Share the information with us, which we will treat in full compliance with security and privacy

• Follow carefully the instructions that will be provided to you.

 

Remember that the infection is certain only after a swab.
