FISHING IN LAKE MAGGIORE

The practice of amateur fishing in the region’s waters is subject to the possession of one of the following licenses:​

REGIONAL LICENSE for amateur fishing:

• For Italian citizens: Type B license: € 35.00 (tax €12.00, surcharge €23.00 – valid for 365 days)

• For foreign citizens: Type D license: € 14.00 (valid for 3 months)

 

The tax and regional surcharge must be paid in a single payment to the Piedmont Region by accessing the following link: www.sistemapiemonte.it/nembopratiche/licenzepesca/index.do

 

• The type B license for amateur fishing consists of the receipts for the payment of the annual regional tax and surcharge for the type B license.

• The type D license for amateur fishing by foreigners consists of the receipt for the payment of the issuance tax for the type D license. This license can only be issued to foreign citizens.

 

For the legitimate practice of fishing, it is necessary to have, together with the receipts for the payment of the regional tax and surcharge for type B licenses or the receipt for the payment of the tax for the type D license, an identity document to be shown upon request by the surveillance agents.
